My Least Favourite Fictional Couples

I can’t really say I have any least favourite fictional couples.

Most of the time I totally ship the main character and their love interest together, and If I don’t, I don’t like the book anyways and therefore, don’t like the characters for whatever the reason. But the main one I can think of now is Celaena and Rowan from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas (please don’t hit/yell at me!). Now, I LOVE Celaena and Rowan. But as separate characters. They are two of my favourite characters in the series next to Lysandra. I just do not like them together. I personally like their relationship more when they were just really close friends. I don’t like that they could potentially be falling in love with each other. But, I have a feeling, in the fifth book, I may end up liking them together anyways so… yay! I guess it doesn’t take much to please me as a reader.

What are some of your least favourite fictional couples?

My Spending Habits!

Most of the time I buy books on impulse. Sometimes, however, I do research first to make sure I really want to buy a book before I purchase it. I only buy books that interest/intrigue me, or that I have only heard wonderful things about via Booktube, Bookstagram, or Goodreads.

I like to buy books in store more than buying them online because I have a points card to Chapters- Indigo, so I like to buy the physical book to rack up my points so I can get free books in the future! And I mean, who doesn’t love going to bookstores?

When I go into a bookstore to make a purchase, I usually buy between one and four books at a time (sometimes more). I always have a list in my head of what I want to buy next. Right now though, because I just bought a lot of books last month and I’m in college, I have to cut back a bit on buying books. I’m only buying my absolutely most anticipated books in a given month. And some months there won’t be any books bought I’m sure. I actually find it easy not to buy books in a month. Sometimes I really just don’t want to buy any (I guess I’m just lucky that way!).

Since you now have learned my spending habits, what are your spending habits?

Where I Shop for Books!

In case you didn’t know, I live in Canada! I usually shop and buy books from Chapters or Coles, and if I’m in a major city, than Indigo (Indigo owns Chapters and Coles if I am not mistaken). These stores are the Canadian Barnes and Nobles (I think this is an accurate comparison!). I also sometimes buy books online, if I can’t find the ones I want in store. I’ll usually go to the online bookstore for Chapters first, to see if what I want is there. If not (although it usually is) I’ll use the online book stores, the Book Depository (because free shipping!), and the Book Outlet (because super cheap books!).

I’m also trying to find used book stores to buy books from (and even sell unwanted books too as well) in the city that I live in right now. Although I have yet to go exploring to track some of these stores down.

And this is pretty much all the places where I buy books from! So, now you know in case you were wondering 😁.
